Ramon Ulangca, senior pastor
Ramon Ulangca is a child of Filipino Seventh-day Adventist missionaries who served in Singapore and Thailand. As such, he has learned to respect and value relationships with people of diverse backgrounds, perspectives and faith, pursuing an inclusive attitude that seeks to reflect the grace and love of God. He is excited about developing a culture of discipleship at Glendale that inspires people to come to Jesus, become like Jesus, and overcome in Jesus! In addition, Ramon’s passion for music as well as theology enriches his appreciation for artistic creativity and academic integrity that finds its best expression in his worship and preaching.
Ramon’s ministry has taken him to countries throughout Asia, North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Consequently, his vision for the church focuses on a community of faith, hope and love that seeks to fulfill Jesus’ great commission to make disciples of all nations, pursuing an understanding of the gospel that transforms people’s lives in practical, meaningful ways and overcomes social, racial and cultural barriers to achieve true oneness in Christ.
Anthony Nix grew up in South America where his father was a Pentecostal missionary but became a Seventh-day Adventist shortly after high school. As a graduate of Southern Adventist University in religious studies, he is passionate about youth ministry and exalting the Person of Jesus Christ.
His desire is to see young people fall in love with Jesus and to witness the heights they can reach when Jesus is first in their lives. Devoting much of his ministry to finding ways of helping people apply the principles of the kingdom of heaven in everyday situations, he finds joy in inspiring people to make Jesus present in their lives today.
Anthony is passionate about evangelism and considers it a life lived to the fullest to be able to bring people into the arms of the God of love and to help them grow up in Christ. His other interests include reading, history, traveling, good food and hanging out with family.
