Benevolence

Glendale Seventh-day Adventist Church

The purpose of the benevolence funds (member and non-member assistance funds) is to provide financial aid to an individual who is in urgent need of financial assistance to meet basic needs. The fund is an officially recognized and designated permanent fund, established by the church board. As such, it is an approved recipient for designated giving. Its receipts consist entirely of designated giving, and its expenses consist of funds disbursed for its stated intended purpose at the direction of the Finance Committee.
